Kimberly Gilbertson is a physician assistant certified by the National Commission on
Certification of Physician Assistants and is licensed to practice in Arizona. She attended the
University of Arizona where she received a Bachelor’s of Science in Physiology with a minor in
Chemistry and a Master’s of Health Sciences in Physiological Sciences. She received a Master’s of
Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Midwestern University in Glendale, Arizona.
Her interests include conservative and surgical management of sports injuries and age-related
musculoskeletal ailments. Her orthopedic interests are inspired by keeping patients active,
thereby improving quality of life and primary prevention of medical disease through healthy
She was born in Germany but has resided in Tucson with her husband since 2005. In her spare
time, she enjoys reading, hiking, running, and spending time with her dogs, Nikki and Luna. As
an alumnus of University of Arizona, she is an avid Wildcat fan.
